I have purchased the high end SUMO with the hope that this would be better model
than the previous ones. To my surprise it is worst then before. The major problem I have faced are:
1. Suspension is too weak and require frequent alignments(Even within 1000 km.)
The gear box rattles at slow speed and there is humming sound at higher speed.
The engine quality is very poor so much so engine had to be replaced at17,000km
The turbo seal has leaked twice.
AC is not effective.
There is a wind cutting at the center doors, the vehicle is not airtight.
The vehicle wobbles at 90+ no matter even after doing the blancing in 1000 km
period.
There is a humming sound from the diffrential at 40+ and 90+ speed.
Brakes are no good at 70+ speed
The vehicle has been to different workshops as directed by the Telco and out 365 days it has been to the garrage for almost 90 days. A very poor performance.
I have approached the highest athorities with Telco at Mumbai (Mr. Dubey VP, Mr. Mani Raman SM (all India) , Mr. Saxena of North India sitting in Gurgaon office).
Firstly none of the above people have decency to return the call and after vigrous follow up they take some action but still the problem exists.
Its like all the Kingsmen (Telco Men) could not set my SUMO in proper working condition. Even the literature is misleading.
