When I purchased TATA sky. They were showing many channels e.g. Zoom, Bindaas, etc but after some time these channels were blocked. Every time you will find that Tata sky starts showing some new channel along with flashing message that this channel is free for one month.after one month or so..It will be blocked and asked for some more money...
Recent example is sports channels. ESPN, Star Sports, Star Cricket, TEN sports etc has been blocked. temporarily they have opened these channels till June end because of stiff competition with Dish TV. Dish TV is giving these sports channels in slightly less cost. This is tactical cheating with the customers..If you get activated all chanels it will cost you around 450/- pm for north Indians.
One more thing, suppose you miss/forget to recharge, TATA sky will block your all channels(Including DD), Blocking Doordarshan is crime. Some one should come up and file one PIL on this issue in Supreme Court.
