I am a Tata Sky subscriber. A quality product, excellent picture quality. Packages are structured very tricky.
Basic packages are only for uncle and aunties.
More you pay you get more and what you want you will not get in low cost packages, like sports cartoon and English channels. For ten sports or for HBO channels you have to pay apart.
No monthly package for all channels, you will have to pay yearly or half yearly.
No toll free no. and you can reach to customer care person nearly after 3 min.
An average helpline service, personnel in helpline are not so competent, and you will be lucky if he / she understands the problem well.(This Problem you may get in other customer care too, ).
Keeping in view the packages, picture quality, after sale service, helpline you are advised to compare other products(Airtel and Videocon) too.
Leave the rest. You will find cons everywhere, but you still have to find the best from the average.
Videocon(recommended) includes more channel, good picture quality shifting of packages(can't say about customer care service).
