I do believe customer service is the worst in most products that I have purchased. However the Airtel DTH connection has changed my view. I purchased the Airtel DTH online in Mangalore. The next day morning I received a call and by afternoon it was connected and working. Perfect!!. I now add and remove channels either by calling or online without any issues.
Recently I moved to Pune from Mangalore, being a technician I dismantled it and got it to Pune, and did the complete installation. However I could not locate the satellite knowing the direction. So I called Airtel gave them the issue and by evening they were at my door steps and was not charged for the installation as I had already installed it. I was charged only for the service.
Overall, great service. Only issue is very week signal strength. A cloud in the sky or a little drizzle you have to wait for the skies to clear for the DTH to start working.
