When I first got to drive it, it was just another company car, temporarily passing thru my hands.
I have been driving a safari for the last 2 months; and it does give you a very good feeling.
You feel like the king of the road, the gears are smooth, the power steering takes u wherever u want, and the air con is a dream.
Top speed attempted by me is about 130 kmph, and I felt safe, but didnt want to push my luck beyond that.
There is a bit of a judder when u are in the second gear, and you notice the power drooping off when u climb with the aircon on, but these are minor complaints.
Lights for everything, including the glove compartment, seat belt warnings, door open warnings-- a lot of such nicnacs make it a pleasure.
Add to it, u can take a full family n kids ( mind you, when ur family fill the car, the luggage has to go !) on a comfortable drive , without getting tired.
Quite safe too, with its big tyres. ground clearance and size.. takes most speed breakers n potholes with a lot of aplomb.
All in a ll, a car which you can own, provided u want a SUV and not a mere car !
