To add my tears to all my friend's who r owners of this shitpot 2.2 Dicor, few problems that I am facing r:-
Bought this shitpot in Aug 2008, it came home in the late evening and my life is hell from then onwards. I bought it from Joshi Autozone, chandigarh, paid thru draft on their request 9, 36, 378 whereas got the receipt of 9, 31, 378, till date don't know where my 5000/- are? Requested them n number of times to refund but to deaf ears:-
1) From the very second day co-driver seat cabin was all wet due to so called AC of this car and it left behind all the bad odours of the world. The car smelled like a dead rat.
2) Next is air cutting noise from the front windows, took it to Joshi they refused to handle it, said this is TATA product go directly to TATA, went to TATA they said go to Joshi and vicious circle started. At last went to Hind Motors, they have soul, tried their best to rectify but junk can never be the same as new.
3) Left Side Back door is not fitted properly way too high as compared to others,
4) Footspace i.e. beige coloured strip just above the strip used for getting in the car, all of u can see this strip where they have written "Safari". The four holes for that strip are best entrance for the rain water and dirty water when u wash it.
5) Propellor shaft noise(when shifting the gear) never went away, it is always there like a shadow. Refitted n number of times but not gone till date.
6) Power window motors and switch are worse than a traditional fan switch. Got these motors changed three times but still the same.
7) Inner rubbers of front doors, did u had a look at these, if not then check right now. these rubbers are so strong that they are removing the inner paint of front doors. Got these changed two times but still the same.
8) Front grill paint is worst because of rubbing of bonnet. No one is bothered to rectify it.
9) Knocking voice of engine with lots n lots of black smoke, no answer from the dealer.
10) Tail gate is the best place from where the dust and small twigs gets entry in the car even when it is safely closed while driving. Got the rubber changed still the same problem along with a new one the squeaking noise from the door.
11) Steering bush got changed within the 10000 - 11000 km, now it at 28000 again ready to be changed.
12) AC fuse always gets fused but this doesn't matters to the dealer or TATA.
13) Driver seat when I adjust but while driving it goes down automatically and leaves me frustrated.
14) and the list is still growing like anything.
And at last I filed a case against TATA and Joshi in I think in Nov 08, see I don't even remember other things related to this car's faults.still waiting a decision from the consumer court.
IS THERE SOMEONE WHO WANT TO HELP ME IN THIS CASE BY GIVING REFERENCE OF HIS/HER WOES OF THIS CAR?
