Let me begin by saying that I love my Safari. I can NEVER drive another vehicle unless its exceeds the pleasure I get from driving my beast.
I purchased it in March 2012, and I love every bit of it. I have had my share of problems with this vehicle, but believe me you will not want to look at another SUV as long as u r driving this truck:-).
Just to put the reliability into perspective, I have done close to 10Kms on extreme Ghat terrains(western ghats and locales close by) and I must say that Safari handles it very well. It Never broke down once, never troubled me even for once.
Its an absolute pleasure to drive on highways and it does so very Royally. It may not be the best suited for city roads, but make no mistake, its a good one to drive in city too. Although its cruel on my part, I have driven it non-stop, full AC in peak summer for 4-5 hrs at a stretch on highways.and it cruised along with no complaints.
I know this is a very subjective review, but then this is what my experience has been with my beautiful beast.
Here are my "un-starred" ratings:
Space Inside: Palatial!
Dealer satisfaction: Which dealer will want to lose you if you plan to buy a Safari:-)
Fuel consumption: Seriously, are you bothered when u have decided to go for this beast!?!
Comfort: Your TV couch comes in second place.!
Reliability: Better than your better-half;-)
Looks: Worlds Envy, Owners Pride(and ride)
