Am a subscriber of TATA SKY(only for another 15 days)

Was their customtakeouter for past 3 Years.

Pros:

Nothing.

CONS:

1. Deleted 3 regional channels WITHOUT NOTICE and WITHOUT any obvious reasons.

They send all these ridiculous messages, payment reminders, but NEVER INFORMED this.

1. Remote conked off in two months, TATA SKY remote costs Rs 600(thats what I heard)

currently using a china remote for Rs 99 without any problem for about 3 years.

1. They have some 8 character number that sometime appear on the screen at random intervals and at random position on the screen. If it appears in the bottom part, its trouble, you cant view channel information, nor know what volume etc. You will have to wait atleast 2 minutes untill it disappears to see the information

   
   




2. Initially the information display was neat but then they have this updates of their software and then have almost half screen information with advertisements below. Initially it would switch on with the last viewed channel number but now it switches on to channel 100 that contains their stupid jinga la la commercials.

   
   




3. Pathetic customtakeouter care .(Wonder how TCS gives services) . "Sir may I hold you? " ."Sire please be on hold " . is the only phrase .

   
   

I called a customtakeouter care to complain that I am not able to view two channels. he was asking me to try this try that . coincidentally my friend too called me for the same reason . I asked the customtakeouter Agent if these channels are discontinued . he put me on'hold' and came back asking the channel numbers, again he'held' me and came back happily saying that those two channels are discontinued . . I was so exasperated explaining that I had paid subscriptions for 6 months and TATA SKY cheated me . I almost blasted them saying I am going to DISCONTINUE your subscription . he just said .'ok sire' .and continued talking,

"SIRE we'are' have a LARnning package for kids . its only costing around . "

(I Slammed the phone)

Now they discontinued a third channel .the only response from customtakeouter care ."SIRE we have posted this information in a national newspaper"

My friends have already taken the Tata sky+(with recording) and now they are in a fix as well.

So

SO BEWARE! Hope you consider the above points before taking TATA SKY again .
