Horrible Unprofessional Customer Service. Review on Tata Play

Tata sky team consists of very highly UNPROFESSIONAL, ILL MANNERED, IRRESPONSIBLE people. Tata sky as an organization doesn't care about how customers think about it. They are into deep slumber. I think their sleep will be broken when they realize that most of their customers are gone to their competBrianbalakumaranrs.

I was extremely unhappy with the way my complaint(I got all proof including recordings to support what I'm stating here) was handled. My tata sky signal wasn't coming for more than a day. I had lodged a complaint on a Sunday morning.

I'm mentioning my experiences point wise here.

I had originally wanted this complain to be resolved in my presence in the weekend. I didn't want to get the job done in my absence. The safety of my family was also in my mind.

We lodged the complaint on a Sunday morning and followed up 4-5 times.

Each time we called, the Tata sky customer care executives kept on telling me that a technician would visit us in two hours. No technician visited on Sunday. If Tata sky doesn't work on Sundays, customers should be informed about the same.

Monday morning I got a call from the customer care in which the guy informed and insisted that the technician would visit my home @ 4 pm.

When I mentioned my unavailability at that time, he insisted that as the only slot for me.

He insisted that I had opted for that slot - which was not true.

When I asked him why the complaint couldn't be resolved on the previous day, which was a Sunday, that guy insisted that the customer care would have promised a 2 hour call back, not 2 hour resolution. He became quite polite when I mentioned that I got recording of the previous conversation. I mentioned that I was also recording my conversation with him.

My this statement melted him down.

Their competBrianbalakumaranr Airtel would actually call a customer to ask for a customer's suitable time.

Airtel would always be willing to resolve issues in the weekend which is a holiday for the working professionals.

When the technicians finally arrived, they kept on telling one lie after another and they started asking me for money for different services.

I was told that the wire was punctured and I had to aishwaryasingh23 for 50 mtrs wire+ 2 adapters.

They demanded Rs 350. I didn't agree as I was not convinced.

They were reluctant to have a proper check on the wire even upon my repeated insistence.

When I mentioned that I would lodge a complaint with Tata sky customer care, they suddenly started telling that the wire was in great condition.

They actually could resolve the issue with slight tightening of the adapters.

Again they asked me for Rs 170 for service charge, then Rs 160 for adapter.

When I told that I would aishwaryasingh23 cash to them only after talking to tata sky customer care,

they left without asking for any money

MY FAMILY MEMBERS DIDN'T FEEL SAFE IN THE PRESENCE OF THE TWO TECHNICIANS AS ONE OF THEM WAS QUITE VULGAR.

I had escalated this issue(the customer care+ vulgar technician+ technician asking for money) to Tatasky customer care+ their nodal officer.

BUT.NOTHING HAPPENED.

NOTHING HAPPENS IN TATA SKY.

THEY ARE A HOPELESS ORGANIZATION.
