After seeing the current TataSky+ diwali offer I decided to go for it since I heard from my friends that it is definitely worth it. Im yet to see if its really worth it since the installation has not happened yet. Being an existing customer I booked for TataSky+ through the helpline.(mistake1). While booking I was told that connection will be done in 1 to 3 days. First 3 days I did not receive a call from anyone. So I decided to check if everything is fine. Now they changed their word and told me that it will take 3 to 5 working days. Fine..I wanted to know when this will be done. Now the customer care rep. was telling this will done on the 4th day evening 5pm. I reached home at arnd 5 waiting for the person to arrive. No CALLS from anyone. Again connected to the TataSky helpline and they told me that this will be done by 730pm. 745..again the trauma of connecting the ever-busy helpline. Passing over to different customer care people, excuses like bangalore team cannot be reached over phone, people are on vacation since it is festival time etc etc etc. Waited waited and waited only to hear that installation will not be happening(now this is the 4th day.). day 4 goes by and no installation. I do not believe in astrology..else I could have asked some astrologer to tell me when they are going to connect the thing. My 5000 rupees appear to have gone into TataSky pocket. So if you are planning to go for TataSky+ dont trust their customer support. They r just liars. I can update if and when I get my connection, now Im in a stage where I will be happy with a refund. Installation is going to happen tomorrow is what they say now..hopefully this year I get the connection!!!!!!!
PLS DO NOT TRUST THOSE HELPLINE PEOPLE. DONT MAKE PAYMENT OVER THE PHONE YOU WILL END UP WAITING.IF POSSIBLE BUY THE STB URSELF. INSTALLATION TEAM IN BLR DOES NOT RESPOND IS WHAT THE CALL CENTRE PPL R TELLING...NOT SURE WHO IS THE VILLAIN..
