In July 2016, we proudly became a part of Tata Sky HD family and were super excited, the quality, Cred824ibility of brand speaks for itself. For the last eight or nine odd months, the services and quality have been remarkable and we were actually planning to go in for another connection for our mother.


However, we never thought the excitement will be short un7379521. I will very briefly share with you, my part of the story and would leave the decision for your own evaluation:




  1. In July 2016, Tata Sky service team was super-efficient, what we believe is due to a new connection being added.




  2. The Technician came as promised and installed the connection without assuring us that all aspects have been taken care of.




  3. We enquired about Dish Installation and were told that it has been while we went on to the rooftop, we were shown a Dish that never belonged to us.




  4. The irony started:






a. On 7th April 2017, at 1:30 pm, the connection went off and we thought it could be due to weather conditions.


b. However, till 2:30 pm the connection was not functional.


c. Having reassured ourselves that we have invested in a Cred824ible brand, we lodged our first complaint in around 8-9 months.


d. The customer care executive assured that someone would be calling in the next two hours and issue will be fixed by 6:00 pm.


e. We believed and anxiously waited as two small super excited kids wanted to glue to IPL match, but we never imagined, their wishes will not be fulfilled.


f. At 6:30 pm when the technician did not turn up, we called up the customer care center and were told, sorry the complaint has got skipped and someone would now visit only on 8th April 2017 by 2:00 pm.


g. After a lot of arguments and tough negotiations, we were once again assured that the connection would be fixed by 11:00 – 12-noon max.


h. I even took the Social Media route but was of no avail.


i. At late evening we received a call from 921218024, the person was outstandingly rude but assured it would be done between 10:30 to 11:00 am


7th April 2017




  1. We again anxiously waited and had to repeat a series of arguments once again.




  2. After a lot of threats and agony, we mAnasultanged to get the number of the Nodal Head – 9582807648. I feel the number should be taken back, it is only been given to harass people, as the gentlemen never come on the call.




  3. Finally, after spending huge amount of energy, the technician turned up at 12 noon




  4. He had to spend an hour and a half to fix the issue on a temporary basis.






Service Technicians Behavior and Approach




  • The technician visiting our house was very cooperative, but his superior seems to have its own way of working and solving issues.




  • The service head(921218024), told my wife, that stop creating an issue out of such small things if you want to get your issue resolved.




  • Since when Tata’s have started threatening its customers, I am a bit surprised.




  • 921218024, the same person started calling the technician and I was forced to request the person to put his mobile on speaker.




  • Astonishing, the service head said – LEAVE THIS HOUSE AND ATTEND OTHER COMPLAINTS, WE WILL GIVE THEM AN EXCUSE, LET THEM SUFFER.




  • The technician was determined to help us and lied to his superior saying that I am not allowed to step out of the house without fixing the issue.




  • He took us to the roof top and we were stunned to see that our connection has been connected to a MDU and not an exclusive Dish, though we paid for it.




  • We lodged another complaint to ask for our right- OUR OWN DISH.




  • Irony started again and we were assured that once you send a mail to help@tatasky.com, it would be done as per the company process schedule




  • Customer care executive assured that on 9th April 2017, your Dish will be installed




  • I again took the Social Media route and gentlemen called “SAHIL” kept on giving me nhassurances till late evening that we are solving your issue, but all of them were false.




  • At around 7:30 pm we received a final call with limited conversation, “we are calling you to know whether the issue has been solved or not” if not sorry and we are taking a note of it.






The technician now claims there are no individual Dishes installed in our residential complex, though there are more that 20 of them. Their team sold off the Dish given for installation at my residence and are now asking TO aishwaryasingh23 AGAIN.
