I am from Kochi and have been using TATA sky from 2007(subscriber ID: 1007552605). Till early this year I never had any problems with them or their service. Earlier this year I upgraded to a multi TV and from then on all hell broke loose. Initially the guys came and installed a dual LNB on my existing dish to support two TVs. and every now and then certain channels would not work on the secondary TV.
Especially HD channels. Everytime this happened I would call up the customer care and they would depute a technician(through franchisee) and everytime they come they used to charge me service fees, but never gave me a permanent solution. After several such visits, it was diagnosed that the dual LNB was faulty and need to be replaced and I was told I would be charged for the same.
I asked Tata Sky to replace the LNB for free as it was only a few months old from the time of installation and that it was faulty from the time they installed it, through phone and email, but the guys never responded. Finally after several months of me paying for services I could not watch, I decided to terminate the connection. After sending a request for termination, a lady calls up and was so arrogant, that she never bothered to understand what my real problem was and gave me a confirmation on disconnection. What great service.
