Hello Readers

I am a customer of Tata sky for the past 5-6 months. But due to the arrival of the monsoon, things seems to be changing. We get the No signal board very often, sometimes when its not raining also. I am aware that DTH signals are blocked due to rains and thunderstorm. But isnt there any remedy to this?

I am living in Mumbai, and in Mumbai its still not started to rain that heavely.

Or do we have to stay at the mercy of the rain all the times in the rainy season?

How do DTH in other countries such as the US, UK function as they too are used to thunderstorm and heavy torrential rains??

Any technical person reading this , please do sahre your thoughts also.

Looking forward for your replies and suggestions!!!

Any suggestion which may minimize the No Signal effect are welcomed. I have seen most people putting some protective covering over the instrument over the dish. Does that help in any way?
