My name is Sujith, I'm from Bangalore.I've been a subscriber of Tata Sky for 16 months now. I've opted for the Rs.350 South Jumbo Pack. The video and audio quality is exceptionally well. Also the menu driven, interactive channel surfing is good.
But, what made me to put my anger in this blog is none of these.
Initially they communicate that all the channels belong to the package and slowly they group one-by-one into seperate 'packages' which has to paid extra other than your monthly subscription.
Second thing,
Yesterday morning I observed that two of the south channels went disappeared without any notice. I called up the Customer Care and enquired about it. The executive there worked exactly like a story telling machine. He has been taught what to tell. He don't know anything other. This was his message : "We have already informed through the newspaper that we are taking away these channels due to bandwidth problems." I remembered them that my mobile number and email id is registered with them, why they didn't inform over the phone ? No reply for that..
I asked them what other channels they are putting in place of these. The reply was some north indian (bihari, Rajasthani) channels..
Then I logged a complaint through their site. I got a call from their service executive, but he too dont have anything else to say. I asked, in which newspaper they had advertised about this change. They mentioned some newspapers which is not at all available in Bangalore. :)
I mentioned them that their competitors are giving very good response for South Channels. Their reply was the steps to follow for disconnection.. How dare !!
Please dont fall in trap.!
