Tata Nano is the most economical car in India.
There is no such car that is cheaper than this car.
There are many Pros and Cons of owning this car, but first we will start with my personal experience and most asked questions about this car.
I have been owning this car for now 4 years(50000 Kms) and it has given me the satisfaction that I was looking for, and also the problems that I was not looking for.
it has given me utmost satisfaction of a budget car, it may look very compact and uncomfortable to sit in from the outside, but it is not. It is very spacious and comfortable for the driver as well as for the passengers. It has sufficient leg space. 4 people can travel in this car comfortably and 5 people after adjusting but not more than 5.
This car is reliable for short distances and not so reliable for long distances.
The car is simply awesome to use in the city but not very good at long drives.
It has great fuel Consumption, without using A/C mileage is of 18/Km and without using A/C its mileage is 22/Km.
now for FAQ
1)Is the car's quality is like its price or more superior?
My answer from my personal experience is that yes, its quality is far more superior than people think it is. Its quality is great looking to its price range but overall, I would give it 2.5/5 for build quality.
2)Is it spacious from inside?
Yes, it is very spacious from inside than it looks from the outside.
3)Is there enough space for keeping luggage?
No, there is not enough space for luggage. It lacks a trunk.
4)Is it good for long drives?
If "long drive" means 100-150 Km, then yes it is good for that range because it gives great comfort for the driver and great fuel mileage.
5) Is it value for money car?
Yes! obviously, after all the registration, its cost starts from 160000 and it is very good for a car because 400cc bike comes in that range.
Now time for the Pros and Cons of the Car.
Pros:-
1) great mileage.
2) good for short distances or within a city.
3) great quality in its price range
4) comfortable
Cons:-
1) Lacks trunk.
2) Not very good at long distance traveling.
3) Lacks power steering.
4) Average Design.
My final review is that this car is very good for a family of 4 and for short distance travelling or for going to office and its mileage is very good.
If your budget for a car is from Rs.150000 - Rs.300000, I would recommend this car as in Rs.250000 you can get a music system as well as an A/c in the car and upto Rs.300000 you can get a trunk and power Steering.
