I am a not so proud owner of a Tata Indigo Diesel(Model 2003)
As of date I have used the car for almost 50 K Kms and have not only spoiled myself and my mood but also wasted a good amount of money and time since purchase of this car.
Till date almost 3 pairs of Ball Joints have been replaced
A/C failure and malfunction is a regular feature
So far spent almost 15 K only on starting problem and the Car has been sent for atleast a dozen times to the Service centre and must have been with them for 20 days since Feb 2007.
Once the car runs for 20 minutes and more and the engine is stopped.
The Car wont start again. So you must have company so that they can push start at Traffic Signals, Rly level crossings, Car Parks or at Highway dhabas.
All most all parts which contribute to starting of the engine have been serviced, cleaned or replaced since last 14 months. for example Fuel tank, Fuel lines, Filter element, Filter Body, Fuel pump, Solenoid, Starter Armature, battery, etc. etc.
But the problem has not got resolved but is persistent and becoming more grave
I am trying to form a club of Indigo Owners facing similar problems and drag Tata Motors to the Consumer forum.
Any body with me? PLEASE DONT BUY A INDIGO AND SCREW UP YOUR HAPPINESS AND PEACE
