I am working in a small organization where we use the internet service of TATA INDICOM (VSNL). The only good thing I found of Tata Indicom is their rates. The rates of Tata Indicom is very cheaper as compared with other Internet Service Providers. But the service of Tata Indicom is very poor. Every time some technical problems occurs with the Tata Indicom Internet Service like server down, slow speed, problem with internet cable etc.
When I give a phone call the customer service regarding the problem I get one and the only one answer from the customer service executives that “I will forward the complaint to the complaint department and your problem will get solved in 48 hours.” But the problem doesn’t get solved in 48 hours. The problem gets solved only when we go to the main office of Tata Indicom which is in Kalyani Nagar behind Gold Adlabs (Pune). The management of the organization is also not good. When ever I want to meet the concern person of the department I get the answer every time that he or she is busy in a meeting.
I took their contact number to contact them on phone regarding the internet problem. They gave me 3 numbers. But when I contacted them on that number which was given to me no one was picking up the phone. At last after trying several times the Receptionist picked up the phone and I told her that I want to talk with the person of billing department. She told me that I will transfer the phone to the billing department.
But the phone didn’t got transferred to the billing department. I tried again to call many a times but no one picked up the phone. 2-3 times only the receptionist picked up the phone but the phone didn’t got transferred to the concern person. So at last I went all the way to the Tata Indicom Office. I met the concern person and my problem got solved but I have to leave all my work and rush to the Tata Indicom office. The place where I am working is 12 kilometers far from the Tata Indicom office.
Every time even for small problems which can get solved on phone we have go all the way to the Tata Indicom office. This is my experience of Tata Indicom Internet. Those who are thinking of taking Tata Indicom Internet service should take an alternative Internet connection of some other company also so that whenever the problem comes with the internet of Tata Indicom one can immediately start the alternative connection of the other company.
