Finally I was able to end my bitter realtionship with TataIndicomVSNL.
It took 7 weeks for them to process my disconnection request !! it
speaks volumes about their Quality of service.
I disconnected because I DID NOT HAVE active connection for 6 weeks. I lodged a complaint pertaining to no link issue on 29th dec 2006 but even after repeated reminders and persistent phone calls from me, NO ACTION was taken. I informed the call center executives regarding the cable cut in front of my building premise but to no avail. There is a serious lack of concern for customer problems and the willingness to solve them. I have run out of patience and cant get more frustrated.
Meanwhile I got a fairly good understanding of how their support system
works this may help few customers --
I report a problem and relevant support staff takes down a complain and puts a request to engineering staff; the catch here is the total disconnect between your support and technical department.** It is impossible for them to give any kind of correct estimate of how much longer a problem should take to get resolved and it leaves us irritated to no end.
Every time I want to escalate an issue to a floor supervisor, I am put to hold for min 20 mins. It is completely understood that it;s a busy call center and supervisors handle a lot of calls. BUT they handle only
escalated calls, so how is this possible that I am made to wait for a precise 20 mins before getting to speak to a supervisor. I am almost sure that they DO NOT want to take calls many a times.
- Even after 20 mins I never get to speak to the same supervisor twice. This is a serious problem because I have to explain problem to him/her all over again AND more importantly they are never held
accountable for the false promises and deadlines they commit. I can recall an instance a supervisor giving her name falsely, Ms Suverna, when her name was Ms Bharti, I came to know about this in my next call. HOW
VERY SMART !!!!
I request all you guys NOT to take this connection how-much-ever their salesman tries to push it.
