I had been receiving poor bandwidth from Wednesday Nov 11, 2009. My plan is flash 384 and I was getting speed in range of 90-110kps. I put in a complaint at 9:54 am on Nov. 14. Two technicians visited my home at 3:00 pm and spent 1.5 hours trying to fix the low-bandwidth problem.


At the end, they said they will have to get some other team to relocate my antenna and they will come back in about one hour. But they never came back and to my utter shock I found that they had even stopped whatever I was getting. I had not internet connection at all.


I called up you customer care again in the night and they took me to the usual troubleshooting steps (repeated by your network team) and at the end told me they were unable to solve the problem and will have someone fix the problem by 9:54 am on Nov. 15. Nothing was done till evening Nov.15 and so I called up customer care again demanding the contact no. of some accountable Tata Indicom officer but they refused to do so.


I fail to understand the accountability system at Tata Indicom, the issue just keeps getting forwarded without resolution (just like files do in a beaurocratic red-tape setup). I have a 8 months pregnant wife at home and I cannot leave my home for office at odd hours. I had immediate issues to fix at office which I do using internet connection. I couldn't fix those because of this network outage at home, putting my job at risk (and livelihood of 2 other persons of my family). I  brought this fact to the notice of Tata Indicom customer care too. I understand that legally (as per the service contract) Tata Indicom is not liable for any monetary losses suffered by me, let alone the emotional stress. However, I had hoped that being part of a great legacy like the that of Taj Hotels (whose staff's courage and humanitarian values the whole world now swears by), I would get at least a human touch and someone would solve my problem and not aggravate it (like it was done by  the incompetent Tata Indicom engineers) and leave me in such a bad situation. I have recently moved to hyderabad from delhi and I do not have any relatives here and I acutally had to leave my 8 month pregnant wife at home at 12 o clock in the night just because Tata indicom engineers simply cut the internet connection at my home when I complained of low bandwidth.
