I am a subscriber of Tata Indicom's broadband service. I pay Rs 1103/- per month for an unlimited 384 kbps connection.The wiring for Tata Indicom is handled by a bunch of hoodlums called La Speed.The service is atrocious.
The local representative of Tata Indicom Abhishek Maity is a third rate idiot.One is required to call STD to Hyderabad to get a complaint docket no.Maity never picks up the phone.He works from the local office of La Speed.As I have mentioned Tata Indicom's service is ridiculous.They never send any bill.
The bill is generated on the 21st of each month and if you don't pay immediately they will make the connection inactive.But this is only the tip of the proverbial iceberg.Since Maity does not answer the phone one has to go to La Speed's office to just talk to him.Now the owner of La Speed wears a ponytail and always keeps his two large dogs in the small room where he receives visitors.
Last Tuesday I couldn't connect to the internet at 7.30 am in the morning.I immediately rang up customer service on 60607070 and was given a docket number.Maity's phone was switched on at 10.00 am.That is when I called him.He did not bother to speak to me. So I took a rickshaw to La Speed.WHAT HAPPENED THEREAFTER WAS UNBELIEVABLE.
As I entered the office of La Speed I asked about Maity.The two people in the room were probably drunk or something.THEY POUNCED ON ME AND STARTED PUNCHING ME.This continued for a full five minutes after which I ran out of the room.I immediately called the local nodal officer of Tata Indicom Mr Sourabh Dutta but was able to speak to him only two hours later.He was told what had happened.He categorically said that it was none of Tata Indicom's concern and put down the phone.I also emailed Sheena Joseph, national apellate authority of Tata Indicom.She did not bother to even write back.
I want to know this.i am a well-meaning, paying customer of tata indicom.i pay my bills on time.and yet, when two bast*rds who are associated with this organisation beat me black and blue no one even bothered to say sorry.i opted for tata indicom because of the famed tata name.and this is what i get in return.are we living in a civilised country?is there a rule of law in india?or are we living in a jungle?i would love it if tata indicom, which is a company filled with blood-sucking filthy people had something to say about this.
