Following is the mail I sent to appellate:
If there is ever an award for worst and most callous customer service tata photon will win it hands down!
Your call centre (1800 266 121) is not only least efficient and professional they lie as well! This is what you call customer service and falsely advertise it on tv? I had activated tata photon plus connection on 9th august 2012. The promised speed is upto 3.1 mbs and I am getting only 0.37 mbps. Refer to the screen shots of spedtest.net along with your dialler in the attached ppt.
On 9th August, I raised a complaint (no: ptcd12011582) and was promised that this will be resolved by 13th august.
nobody called me till 6:30 pm on 13th August when i was not at home. The caller from tata photon was told to call back after 30 minutes. But till date nobody called me back! You call this customer service?
firstly, your team takes 4 working days to just call back!
and then your team waits till eleventh hour to call up the customer and never call back? You call this customer service?
On 16th august morning, I talked to some supervisor @ 1800 266 121 and she promised that this issue will be resolved by 5:00 pm on 16th august. But again nobody called me back!
I called up your call centre (1800 266121) again at 5:30 pm and was told that there is an outage in kundanhali area (where i reside). If there is an outage will i get signal strength of 5! (pl. See the attached screen shot for the day)!
Your call centre people blatantly lie to customer. You call this customer service?
I requested to be connected to a supervisor or a senior person and i was told that there is nobody in the centre? Are your call centres being run by operators and peons? Do you call this customer service? Or raster that's the reason your customer service stinks!
My complaint number which i raised today (16th august) is 1448233480.
I request you to resolve my issue by 17th august or remove your advertisements proclaiming your great customer service and apologies to citizens of India. You should be ashamed of being part of a great group like tata!
