I am an unsatisfied customer since 2 years plus.I went for a postpaid and they first refused to convert it to prepaid.After a year of leeching my blood worth Rs. 250-00 pmonth and giving me zero bytes.they converted to prepaidIt still didn't work. Lying unused, they called me from time to time to recharge and use.
"hum sudhar gaye hain sir ji" - they said .Anyway .

I registered a complaint ten days ago after letting my photon unused for another three months
I thought ur net condition would have improved. I take a 3 gb plan(prepaid) for summer vacations. But as usual .it never works!Am unable to get a speed of even 200kbps - daily attempts even outdoors and all over delhi 3-4 places tested, including my regd address.My complaint no is - test12116082 is pending since a week or so.
Today 30th june 2014, from your photon call centre number 01726611130 I get a call at 12-09 pm - from the most intelligent person -mr. Ashwani.who has ever worked with any communication company. I would recommend his name to apple inc. Or microsoft corpn. Mr. Errr mister ashwani asks me to turn on my laptop coz he assures me(after one week of complaint) that in 5 mins he shall resolve my issue of 200 kbps(211 to be precise as he mentions) I am asked to clear my temp folder and temp files, [which as such also I keep on doing time to time .as I have that much knowlegde being a microsoft certified professional and I have been selling and dealing in it industry since 1989( mr ashwani was not even born then . I guess.)
Anyways he asks me to log in to speedtest . Net
I check my speed.the speed is 0.10 mbps - 0.12 mbps(thats lower than 2 g) and it takes around 6-7 mins to load the page.Finally the test stops at 90%(screenshot attached) with an almost average speed of 0.15 mbps( thats 150 kbps)when nothing happens after 10-12 mins mr ashwani agrees that the speed is too less and asks me to send a screenshot(attached) to appellateauthority.delhi@tatatel.co.in
While he is logging off . And I am thanking him.i ask him if we can take one more try?
I change my laptop location. I step out into the balcony(he is aware of all this)
I am not sure how much this would help coz in the same place @my balcony I get more than 3mbps on both airtel and vodafone.I do expect around 2 mbps at least from photon so called proclaimed upto 3mbps speeds.
Anyway after repeated tests. In one test I am able to get a reading of 0.69 mbps (thats 600kbps)
*mister ashwani is a very proud man!
I am sure he must have opened a champagne bottle then!
He has proved that tata photon is the king of indian internet!
He says "tata promises minimum 256 kbps.see we gave you 600 kbps)*
I need to touch his feet? And offer prasad to this god.?
Coz now he has closed my complaint and as usual .even speedtest page is not opening on more than 3 laptops I tried on in different places.
Hence . In the end . "tata photon . Sucks!"
