In Dec 2011 I needed a 3G connection for my laptop. I went to Tata Photon+ website and placed and order at their website and made the payment of INR 1200.
After that I got a call from one person he said the connection will take a week or more. The reason he gave is that the hardware I specified is outdated and out of stock. I told him that I did not mention any hardware specification as there was no place of the website for me to do so. Anyhow I decided to wait. The order was placed on Dec 19th approx.
The person arrives at my office after a week. Now he was some kind of "manager" with some hard accent. He tried to make the 3G USB connection work my laptop but could not. He was clueless what to do. On top of that he was expecting me to look into and resolve the issues that his software was giving on my laptop. I was already bugged with a late delivery by Docomo. They took one week to deliver what Airtel can do in one day. On top of that they send a person who does not know his job. I asked him to leave and cancel my order which he politely agreed to and promised me that all my money will be refunded in a weeks time. I followed up with him a few times and every time he said he will look into the refund. Now he does not pick up my call.
I placed a request at the their call center for my refund but the request was closed abruptly.
