I was a subscriber of Tata Teleservices No. 011-6548-9536, Account No. 202729942 & Tata Indicom Mobile No. 92137-08867 and have had the services to both these numbers terminated immediately as I no longer wished to use the atrocious services of Tata Teleservices. The services of Tata are pathetic to say the least.


The customer care department is the most inefficient and badmouthed set of people I've ever come across. They have standard answers of 48 or 72 hours to any problems that you have but that 48 or 72 hours never comes.


I will even be informing TRAI attached with a few other complaints from Tata's various customers and am also contemplating going to the Consumer Courts. Companies like Tata Teleservices should not be allowed to function as the services totally amount to cheating and harassment of the consumer.


Even though I am a very busy person I personally went to hand in the instrument with attachments and would NEVER like to have anything to do with Tata Teleservices or even hear the name again. I am now glad to clear this cumbersome weight called Tata Teleservices.




  1. Their satilites are next to never available. I used to be sitting at the side of my instrument and dialing from my mobile and the response would be that the number is out of service area. I’d call from the office to check on my 2 small kids and the phone would be ringing with no responce, so I’d have to call on the neighbour’s line to go and check if all was well at home.




  2. The Customer Care Centre’s have standard answers, such as it will take 48 hours or 72 hours and the matter will be looked into but ofcourse the matter is never looked into.




  3. From the day the bill is generated, even before it has reached you, their representatives will be calling you and telling you to pay your bill or else you will suffer the consequences, they will enveroubly call in the afternoon, they will keep calling you till you pay the bill, the calls are atleast 4-5 times a day.




  4. If you go to one of their Centres personally, the ques are as long as the woes of the consumers and when you eventually get to someone, you are treated as if you are a piece of dirt, they are permitted to loose their heads but you are not or else their goons will take care of you.
