Hopeless company hopeless service. Review on Tata Indicom ADSL Broadband

In continuation of my earlier review on Tata BroadBand, I would like to add that, after a lot of haggling around, and writing mails to higher ups such as the Chief General Manager of VSNL, I finally got the worthless workforce of Bangalore Tata Indicom to come home and change my ADSL to a Router. It worked fine for only 24 hours. After that, untill 12th of August, it was doen >75% of the time. Every time to get it up and going, I had to make an average of 5 calls to their customer service (shame on Tatas for this dirty state of affairs). What these people do is they stealthily draw their internet cables over Electricity Poles. This is unlawful as well as unsafe. What the Electricity department authorities do in turn is they go on a chopping spree and cut down the lines mercilessly. When we ask TATA Indicom officials about this, they say that only their company is licensed to draw lines over electricity poles!! Thank GOD, no one at home got electrocuted by current leakage (as such Electrical lines carry high voltage currents and imagine a co-axial cable coming into your computer by banking over an electrical line!1 I am sincerely warning everyone of you dear friends and fellow men, please please ensure that your ISP does not draw lines over electrical poles before routing the wires into your homes. Almost none of them are licensed to do so.

Now that my internet was down for more than 75% of the time, I used to get very good regular fat bills (for unused bandwidth). TATA INDICOM has mastered the art of squeezing money from customers. They believe that if the line is there, the internet works! Then I wrote a strong letter and demanded that they cancel my customership. I have demanded my deposit money back. I only hope that these cheats return my money and get out of my life once and for all.

My TATA INDICOM broadband internet service was terminated on 12th August. It was sure Independence for me - getting rid of a horrible company like TATA INDICOM. I once again advise everyone - if my voice can reach the whole of this nation, I would be glad! - please please do not buy TATA INDICOM. Don't even think of it. These sleaze guys are not worth giving even a thought. My closing advise line is ''Say No To TATA INDICOM, The First Time And Everytime''
