NEVER GO FOR TATA INDICOM BB

I am using Tata Indicom broadband service since last 2 months. And I would really like to inform all of you that your service is one of the worst I have ever experienced within the time.


I am having problems since I have installed this connection at my residence. Its a 3 months prepaid connection. Details of the problems, issues and service which failed/would fail to satisfy any existing/new customer. I have logged several complaints and nobody has even bothered to attend the same or give a courtesy call to me asking about the service. Every time I have to call them and remind that ''there is something called customer satisfaction''.


1) Fisrt of all, I had given a false committment that my new connection will be activated within 8-10 days. This committment was not met in time inspite of making several calls to the city office as well as the cable operators. This shows the in-


efficiency of the service and reveals that tata indicom does not care for the customers.


2) After I got my connection activated after 3 weeks (which was actually a nightmare for me) within 2 days I started facing problems like (error 718, error 691). Within 2 hours the connection was disconnected without any reason for about 10-15 times. This is unpredicatable, cannot predict when it will happen next. The executive examined the problem and instead of giving me a solution he gave me an unrealistic reason that ''I cannot do anything for this problem''.


3) I have never experienced a smooth connectivity continuously. The connectivity is very inconsistent.


4) There is no backup facility for the hubs/routers/switches in some areas. Hence when the power is off even if we have backup at our residence we are unable to use the connection.


I really hope that after going through all these problems the company will take a serious step to rectify the same. These problems are not only faced by me,


but other members in my society are also facing the same problems.


After repeated mails and calls to the customer service, I am not seeing any kind of response from the customer service. Today I called up again to the customer care no. and got the same reply that someone will attend to your call shortly.


You will notice that not even a single connection has continued for even 15 mins or half an hour. I have to connect for atleast 10-15 times if I want to use the internet for 2-3 hours. Downloading wont make any sense with this type of connection.


The engineers are also not efficient enough. I will rather opt to discontinue this service rather that continuing this useless connection. I think BSNL is better.


I am fedup with this service. It is the most hopeless service I have ever experienced. Henceforth I will never recommend this service to anybody else. I


am going to shoot a mail to all the friends and relatives and even on the various websites/reviews/blogs/etc..., to let all know about the poor and unrelaible service which tata indicom provides.
