I bought a Tata India Xeta GLG with company fitted CNG from Sanya Motors, Mayapuri in Mid 2007. Of late I have considered it a sunk investment as I never felt like driving a new car. This was the first car I bought on my own and it had thrashed all my feelings.

Noises, heat-up, exorbitant service cost, AC non functional- it has given me evrything worst I could think of. Tata doesn't care about customers as it is purely reflectioned from the dealer's behaviour. I strongly recommend not to buy this car under any circumstances, look for other competitive products who atleast serve the basic purpose of buying "They Work". You might shell out 20k more but least it would keep you away from excruciating pain.

One of our friend rightly quotes on this blog

"Within this period of two years my car A/C broke down thrice. SImply non reliability is the word I can say . I have already filed a consumer forum case against one of the dealer who caused dents and scratches on my car when I went for the service in the workshop. Apart from that on the very first service another Tata’s authorized dealer gave me a bill of 1100 rupees extra for adding some useless additives to the engine and gearbox. If these additives are required to be added above the lubricants already needed to be changed during regular service then why Tata is not recommending quality lubricants to their cars?

Even when I asked the dealer personnel not to put any additive he still gave me an extra bill of 165 rupees when my car has only run for 1500 KMs for catalytic convertor cleaning. Its a simple joke that a car requires catalytic covertor to be cleaned at mere 1500 KMs and if anyone knows a bit technically then its also a fact that no catalytic convertor can be cleaned as it is a sealed unit which has to be replaced."

Write to me should you need any feedback.
