I bought Indica Vista Quadrajet around 2 months back . My sincere opinion to other folks will be to look out for other cars rather than investing your money on this.
Or else you should wait for some time so that TATA corrects the issues with this car and releases the next version.
My car has run around 4500 Kms and will be ready for the 2nd service in a weeks time.
Some good things about the car
Really spacious. I think the big in this segment.
Good Pick up when compared to other cars.
Very less noise and good Suspension compared to other Diesel cars.
Bad stuffs
Very poor service.
Interiors material quality is not good.
Very low quality rubber used for beedings and all.
Non Availabitlity of spares.
From the day1 I bought this car, customer service was not good at all. They didnt checked the vehicle before giving the delivery and I had issues with the Head light switch. I went to the dealer 4-5 times and ultimatley got it replaced during the last visit.
The quality of the rubber is very poor and it expands when expoased to sun light. Dealers have ensured that they have reported this problem to TATA and will get the Beadings replaced.
Spares for this car are not available, The central power window switch stopped working almost 3 weeeks back and I havent got it replaced it yet due to non availablitiy of spares.
Again I had issues with the dash like Vibrating nocies and they replaced the sponges inside to fix the issue.
Another problem with Vista is the side pulling factor. It used to swing either to the left/Right and when I got it checked, they said that its the issue with alignment. ( To my surprise, this issue was there from day 1 and even on first service they didnt corrected this).
Also while closing the door there is some craching noise coming and the service people havent fixed the same yet. I checked the same on another Vista and same story there too..
MIlage :- On Normal driving am getting 15 Km/L on mix match of AC/With out AC. When I bought the car I used to get above 20, but it got reduced to 15 after first service.
This is my own exp..Am not showcasing any other car, but just trying to share what happened with me :-)
