I have been using Tata Indica Vista - Aura Safire(petrol) for the past six months.
I will be very specific about my reason for choosing this vehicle:
Value For Money - I can assure after all my research done before purchasing, 'You will not get the features for the price in any other mid sized car segment'
Driving Comfort - Although I couldn't test drive all the competitor cars in this segment, I had reviewed about the experience with other cars. Was difficult to conclude anything(honestly), but now that I hav driven the car for over six months, I believe the driving comfort is great. U can adjust the steering and also the height of the front seats. My friends who have been driving other cars like i10 and swift were impressed with features and the comfort.
Cabin space: 3 people can very comfortably seat in the rear with plenty leg room. This was one of my key consideration while buying the car as I always believed that my family should always have a comfortable journey while travelling in the car. No other car(in this segment) can compete with the space available in the car. This has been my consistent comparison when I traveled in any other car. Most of the cars or should I say all the cars in this segment can only seat 2 people very comfortably. The 3rd person always struggles or needs to adjust to some extent.
Technical specs: Although I was never too much into in-depth details of the tech specs, I ensured a basic comparison of the specs from the websites and always concluded they were good.(I am not an expert to write about this, but I am only confirming that I had done a fair comparison and never found anything negative worth mentioning here)
Power: The car is enough powered. Never really had any complains about its performance or pick up.Top speeds I have reached on the express highway have been 160-170 kmph. Mind you the car was stable, no problems at all . It was as steady as at any other lower speeds.
Fuel economy: I have been getting an average fuel economy of around 13 kmph with AC.
After sales service: My authorised dealers for Tata(WASAN Motors) - Mumbai(Chembur) has been providing good service. Also, I immediately receive feedback calls from Tata motors after all services and the response is positive.
Looks: I like it! much improved and sophisticated then older versions of Indica. You better see it and decide for yourself.
Interiors: Interiors are classy. dual tone beige coloured interiors adds to the beauty of the car. Quality is good. The speedometer is in the center, this is an advantage(atleast for someone seating in the rear can monitor your speed;-) ). The company fitted audio system is good with USB support and the speakers are fiitted nicely into the cars doors and the dash board. Overall the interior feels like the one of a big sedan.
Who should buy: It is a family car. best for the comfort and rich features. The car is competitively priced and offers the best value for money(No second thought).

If you feel I did not highlight any cons, I am sorry, I am still to find out.(i am too happy with the car.i just realised.) But will honestly update if I find any.
