Normally people say Goodbye, Tata when they depart!!
...After riding an Indica V2I would like to say Good Buy Tata. Indica V2 definitely is a good buy. The best car in all respects, though I don't own one. If I will have money and a chance then definitely I would buy Tata and Bye Bye my Maruti 800 Dx.
I remember last year the President of India Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam enumerated Indica car as one of the achievements of India in his independence day address to the nation which I heard on AIR. I was surprised by his approval but soon realized he was correct.
One of my close friend and a service batch mate Mr. Artiman Tripathi (working in a World Bank project) and his wife Ms. Shubrajyotsna Tripathi (Joint Director Education) both have a small family and huge savings. Once the called me and decided to go for car shopping. We visited several places and test-drove many models. Finally Mr. Tripathi short-listed two vehicles a Zen and Indica.
Within a couple of minutes the decision was there: ''we'll buy Diesel Indica V2.'' The reasons were: 1. Inside Space, 2. Comparatively quiet and highly fuel efficient engine 3. Fantastic Airconditioning 4. Almost unbelievable average 18-22 km/liter. 5.Easy start and great engine power 6.Safe, Strong and reinforced body, 7. Comfortable & Soft Seating 8. Better Road Grip.
During the past two years they have purchased another hot model, this time an Alto from Maruti to change the taste, but when the dealer asked them to dispose the old darling Indica V2, they said : NO.
