Hey brothers... please dont confuse the readers by not mentioning whether u are talking about 1.4 engine or 1.2 engine ....
1.4 has been replaced with 1.2 !!!! 1.4 was a great one ...forget it as it is there only in the top end version GLX!!!
lets just think about 1.2 and lets not compare it with 1.4 as it is not there virtually, as top end is not in the list for many ...
someone please first tell me whether u own 1.2 GVS or GVG and please comment whether
1) is the 1.2 engine is reliable !
2) is the present 65 PS power enough for driving pleasure if not for cross road
racing ?
3) can we expect a resale value in a year or two ?
See my conclusion is the earlier 1.4 was just excellent no questions about that
now they have reduced it to 1.2 only to get excise exemptions..
i heard from the earlier owners that 1.4 to 1.2 reduction will hamper the performance...but I personally feel why should a 1000kg small car require 1400CC engine when a 700kg maruti can perform with 800CC ?
1200CC is not a small engine compared to 1000CC for similar weight cars running in the markets !! say maruti esteem !
see anyway any indian small car on indian roads is not meant to overtake or race at more than 100KMPH ...
if the indica can reach 100KMPH in short time with AC on and if it can run like that for continuous 8 hours, that will be enough and about the city pickup it will be peppier as the 1.2 engine will move faster than 1.4 !

HIGHLIGHT ON THE REDUCED ENGINE 1.2 WITH 65 PS ...AND WITH AC THE PERFORMANCE AND MILEAGE FACTORS !!!

hey nice reviews so far ! but why dont u tell us whether u are talking about 1.4 xeta or 1.2 xeta.... and just wanna update the users...now indica calls it GVE, GVS, GVG ....the first 4 models have been replaced with V in place of L...the only 1.4 engine is the top end GLX......Now please tell me whether 1.2 is better or not...i do know that 1.4 was a great one ..... and can a 1.2 satisfy us ? will the reduction in engine capacity reduce the pleasure of drive or will it totally spoil the pleasure of drive and conversely is there any mileage advantage from 1.2 compared to 1.4 !!!!!!!!!!!!
AND REMEMBER FOR OTHER CARS U ARE PAYING MONEY FOR THE ADS AS WELL....

AND LAST BUT NOT THE LEAST ., THE REAR SPOILER IN THE XETA 1.2 DOES MAKE A STYLE STATEMENT AND DOES DIFFERENTIATE FROM HIS DIESEL COUSIN !
