If there were a Miss India beauty competition for cars, clearly the new Indica xeta would have won it with no efforts. The most beautiful car in its segment.
Visited the showroom and it was love at first sight. Brought her home on 9th October. Every now and then I try to catch a glimpse of it by coming out of my home on one pretext or other.
Havn't drove it much, but can say by the experience I have gained by driving some Kms, it is a queen with lot of poise and you will feel on the top of the world while driving it.
Before having a look at Xeta, I had a lot of faith on Maruti. Visited Maruti's showrooms quite a few time to get a good deal on Wagon r, but nothing really ticked (thankfully). And then somehow visited the TATA showroom. That was the point of realisation. Comparing Xeta with Wagon r, I found that Maruti was giving nothing (simply a box which can run with almost no interiors) though it was charging much more.
Uptil now haven't spent much on accessories except for two front power windows and autocop antitheft system. Planning to get a vcd player with a LCD flip panel monitor installed. Lets see how much they cost.
Question for the experienced Xeta owners. Would it be easy for a roadside accesssorywala to fit the music system without cutting any wires. Because TATA dealer has cautioned me on cutting of those internal wires. Is it advisable to get the music system fitted from these accessorywalas.
Regarding mileage, it is just the beginning....... but I promise to update.........

Got Sony Xplode MP3 player installed alongwith Pioneer 420 watt oval speakers and 2 4" sony speakers in front. Those whole arrangement costed me around 8000...... Great combo.........Great sound.
Mileage
Checked the mileage by tankful tanful method. It is above 15 for sure. But without AC. But mind it I never drive above 55 KMPH..... I can surely say that buying Indica Xeta was a good decision.
