I am about to complete one month on my indica xeta 1.2 GLS.I have driven 450 kms and have got an average of 12.5 kms/lit. almost 95% on A/C and 80% highway drive and rest 20% in first gear in bumper to bumper traffic in powai.First 8 kms mulund to kanjur marg on EEH and then to powai hiranandani.I have used Indian Oil super premium petrol.
I never had any starting problem even once(despite even the vehicle was not used for 7 days at a stretch).The ride quality is excellent, The brakes are superb.A/C is very good.
XETA GLS-Grand Luxury Saloon.
Problems faced-
1)Vehicle is very wide(compared with maruti).You have to bend really to close the window glass.I probably should have gone for GLG than GLS(front power windows).(what a crib?)
2) When trying to accelrate in 4 th gear at 30 kmph the engine grunts and has a small lag which disappears at 40 kmph.(wrong driving?)
So all in all I am very happy with the vehicle.At 4 rupees/km I shall drive 30, 000kms free compared with similar powered indica turbo diesel / wagonR / santro xing which are about 1, 20, 000/- costlier or break even at 60, 000 kms with Indica turbo at Rs 2/km.
