I bought a Tata Indica Xeta LPG in August 2008.Before buying this I analysis many hatchback car like maruti estilo, astar, Hyundai santro but I found indica best for my Family in 4 lacs range hatchback(small car) I went in for this model because of the following reasons I wanted a car that having more space so that seating will be comfortable, mileage, low maintenance and 1000+cc engine.
Till date the car has given me good service, with minimal complaints and service center are good. Moreover indica running in Taxi/Cab, but why they choose indica think, the reasons is I had given above. TATA have done a decent job of trying to break this image.
One drawback is that less boot space in dickey because of LPG fuel tank. Generally this is for extra tyre. Having more luggage then you may be slightly inconvenienced. Either ways I think this is a very good family car and would definitely recommend it.
