I would like to share a experience which I had with manipal motors k.h road.. a so called delears of TATA MOTORS..... the worst showroom I have ever seen in my life time.... I was always inclined towards INDICA from the very beginning when it was launched... but when this Turbo was launched.. I took a test drive and I was in love with the Re-energy of the turbo engine .... but turbo only starts injecting after 2000 rpm. let me come to the topic... since This Manipal Morors is near to my office, so I simply walked inside the delear and spoke with a Sales exe..( I dont want to name the Exe..).
I asked for a test drive.... she said the car is not there.. she will give me a test drive soon..... Her followup was good till I booked a DLS TURBO.... 1st she promised me for a black colour.. later after booking she called me and said Black is not available... I compromised to salsa red.. but in heart I was not ready to accept the Red colour... the day I went for my down payment... I got a blessings I disguise ... she didnt do the Invoicing yet. so offered me to go to the hebbal stock yard and select the car, and give her engine number for invoicing... I somehow managed to bunk my work and go to hebbal... I was shocked when I reached the stock yard..... One Black colour was available I immediately called up the sales exe.. and came to know... it was out of her knowledge that black was available.. anyhow I was alloted with the black one.. for which I was happy again.... I got the car registered on 4th jan 08' and planned to take delivery on 16th jan.. since my mom was coming from UK. since 14th jan 08 I informed the sales exe that I would be coming on 16th jan after 3 pm.. ...
When I went with my mom to take the delivery on 16 th jan 08.. both of us where num struck...... THE CAR WAS FULL OF DUST... it was looking like it was not touched for 2 months..... the EXE said a person to wash the car.... Just imargin friends the delivery day the car is getting washed in front of you???? doesnt sound bad???? anyhow it was cleaned... from outside...INSIDE WHERE DUST FULL.. The seat plastics where torn.... no tyre polish..... no Ribbon.... when I insisted.. the ribbon was put..... no puja....another shock.. when I asked for my RC book... the EXe got me my RC book... and it had a full of mistake..... the colour printed was C. PEARL... and m dad's name printed wrong... anyhow I took the car and came home.... I really felt bad.... I had a huge expectation abt delivery... its just 4 days of now.. I am using the car.. its awesome.... friends if u wnt a diesel car at a cheaper price go for a TATA INDICA TURBO...
BUT DONT EVER THINK OF PURCHASING A INDICA FROM MANIPAL MOTORS ( K. H ROAD) the worst dealer I have seen ... Sorry guys if I made u bored....
