There is lot of angst and disappointment with which I am writing this. I had purchased a TATA Indica Xeta from Wassan Motors, Marinelines Mumbai on 15 April 2008. Along with the car, I was promised free car service on end of 1st month, 12 months, 24 & 36 Months.
The Problem started when I went to have my car serviced, Every time I had to get my car serviced through TATA car repair shop in Worli, I used get a standard response that I have come late & our system suggest the car is bought in the first week of April 2008, and hence cannot be serviced for free. Every year I have to fight with the service center and the Dealer to have this sorted out. Post sorting out they always promised they will sort it out and I should face the problem again
This year is my 3rd year free service and this time again face the same problem. Additionally this time round Mr. Nilesh (TATA car repair shop) claimed that he will not send an email to the dealer to sort it out as the Dealer does not revert and hence I need to Pay. When I informed I have received an email from TATA motors that my car service is scheduled for 17Th April, He informed me that it would be mistake from the system & later on corrected (when I read the SMS to him) that the SMS never claimed I will get the free service.
This is not experience which I expect. Feel cheated
