Had recently bought a Tata Indica Lxi from concorde motors in the second week of june.
My driving impressions with the car has been pretty inspiring, that I took it out for a highway spin on day 3 of the purchase. Some of my observations are
Pros
1) The car is spacious enough and can sit in 3 people comfortably.
2) The car is quite responsive considering its size.
3) Suspension suits well the roads of chennai, dont feel the potholes while driving.
4) The car stays stable on the highways, considering the fact with the older versions of santro, where the car used to be thrown up while going on a kerb at high speeds.
5) The car comes fully loaded, .....power steering,power windows,central locking, defogger, rear wiper, HVAC, tinted windows, so just need to plug in a stereo system and all set to go...
Cons
1) The car is quite thirsty in city driving conditions, gave me a mileage of 11 in city and 16 in the highway.
2) The gearbox needs refinement in shifting, sometimes a little hard while shifting.
3) The power windows console over the gear shift gets heated up due to gear box shift heating.
Overall, a good car to buy for the power hungry junta.
