For last couple of months, I visited number of recondition houses, cos, initially I was planning to buy a used car due to my financial limitations at the moment. my pocket could pay up to the car of Alto/Santro segments. while during visits at recondition houses, it was obvious that due to the number of other good looking cars, Alto got out of my interest.
And one day, I got to check out a Tata Indica Diesel, and as soon as I stepped into it, I was excited. the space inside, it was the most spacious than all the other cars that I checked out. It was Maruti Esteem(used one) that was holding my interest but after the step inside Indica made me think again. now that was diesel indica so had higher rates than usual cars. so immediately I looked around for Petrol Engine Indica, but they were not available and I had to check with the car dealer themselves. and when I found out the price, I was surprised !!! this is a 1.4litre car for a price of 800cc Alto, and guess what, the car dealers had some offer on their sales - I got insurance paid for a year, car registration and road taxes paid for a year, both by the car dealer , and free accessories worth 10000, and top of it a cash scheme discount of 30000 straight. I was lucky enough to contact Tata Dealer at the right time when they had all their offers flowing to the customers..
It had been my wish to buy a car since last year, and when i'd seen the ad of Xeta on TV, I had no idea why they called it "dumb", but when you really look into the facts of Xeta, and the price, it sure would be a dumb idea to go back to other cars of this price range. and I bought it. Xeta GLS.
and by the way, I just got my car home yday from the dealer, I had my first drive today and it was superb experience. therefore my ratings above are just the average on what I feel, I will make the changes as I drive my first car miles and miles ahead...
