You might have already seen my review about Indica V2.Again I want to add some more points about the comment which One of the member gave me.According to him almost all the diesel cars will be in a bad condition after around 2-3 years.


Before buying Indica I used Ambassador diesel for about 8 years and ford escort diesel for about (using now also) 6 years.Normally I maintains my cars well.I overhauled the ambassador BMC engine after running 1,25,000 Kms.But I did the same work for Indica once before 60K Kms.I have spent around more than 40,000 Rupees for the Indica to maintain the car in running condition.Now I own a palio diesel which already completed around 30,000Kms which has never given me trouble.I know several persons talking the same about Indica and Palio..Anybody who boasts about the indica for the quality will change the opinion himself after running his car for aroung 50K-70K kms.Also Think of Tata Estate,Sierra and all.Are you seeing those cars on the roads now(I am not talking about new the old ones).But can you see old ambassador diesels and Mahinrda jeeps plying.Also you can buy Estate as scrap or old ones for 20K-50K rupees range.I think even the old ambassador is costlier than an estate which was around 4.5K-5.5K rupees range for new ones.When Tatas introduced Sumo,that was the vehicle you could have seen the maxiumum in Indian roads.But after running for 40K-80K Kms you have to do the engine overhauling thats why you can see more Qualis on the roads now which is more costlier by around 1,00,000 Rupees.


Also the people who already bought the indica and put themselves into trouble are not revealing the truth.Because they are buying the car thinking that Oh!Indian car mada by indians.But Tatas designed only the Indica engine(actually not new;but manufactured keeping peuogt 1527cc which you can see as Zen diesel ,as reference) which is a scaled down version of Tata Estate 1948cc Engine.IDEA a design Institute designed the Indica and so NOBODY can say that its a True Indian car.
