We had booked a Tata Indigo car(Regn. no. MH 47 C 7370) from TATA Prabhadevi outlet - Concorde Motors in Mumbai and had taken delivery of the brand new car on 15th July 2015 for the purpose of getting it to ply on roads as a tourist vehicle through Uber.
The very next day after we took delivery i.e.16th July, we saw an error message saying “check engine” and had to take it to the workshop on 17th July itself. We were told that there was some issue with a wiring which was supposedly sorted but that the issue of the engine would be sorted later for which we would get an appointment on next week - Tuesday.
In the meanwhile we were told by Mr. Nishant Sawant at your workshop that it was safe to take the car back on the road. My driver who then took it out of the workshop saw fumes coming out a little while later from the bonnet and had to douse the fire on the road. We had to call the workshop again and reach out to the toll free number from where the towing service was called in. We visited concorde show room on Saturday 18th July 2015 and handed over our complaint.
As on 20th July, 2015, we’ve been the ones following up with multiple people like Mr Satish Thapar/ Ms Pragati Panchal from Concorde motors but no positive response till date. It’s a new car and safety of passengers is my first concern. How can this be taken so lightly? Even responses after the problem are lax, to put it mildly.
My requirement - 1. replacement of Car along with below mentioned financial loss OR 2. 3 years extended engine and parts guarantee along with below mentioned financial loss.
My Finanical loss as below:
Driver Payment of Rs 500/- Daily
Business Loss of Rs 2000/- Daily
Uber Instrument cost Rs 300/- weekly
Car EMI - 13300/- per month
Mental Agony/Harrassment Rs 2000/- per day
We are emotionally distraught and need your assistance in new car delivered at the earliest and also make good on my losses.
