I got a Tata Docomo 3g estick about 2 weeks back. The download and upload speeds are pretty good from what I have seen. WHEN IT WORKS.
I got a postpaid connection. The best plan of 2000/month. As a rule, the connection will work ONLY FOR 2 DAYS at a stretch. After that my application always fails some verification and service will be barred FOR 3-4 DAYS. This has happened for 2 weeks at a stretch. Zero help from the helpline. I was told blatantly to resubmit my documents and wait for 72 hours.
The guy who is supposed to come to my place for address verification never called or came to my place but merely put in my document NOT AVAILABLE AND NOT ANSWERING THE PHONE.
I asked to speak to the manager and was told "THE MANAGER IS TOO BUSY TO TALK TO YOU".
DONT EVER buy the postpaid. If I buy the most expensive plan and they treat me like this, I can only imagine the way they treat the lower plan customers.
Customer satisfaction is not even a factor for Tata Docomo. They just want to MAKE MONEY by FLEECING the customers.
The speed they provide just aint enough to overcome the ABSOLUTELY PATHETIC service they provide.
Personal thought: Everyone working here(atleast who all I spoke to) are ARROGANT AND CONDESCENDING.
Rating of the product: IT AINT A PRODUCT WHEN THE MANAGEMENT THINKS THEY ARE DOING THE CU A FAVOUR BY MAKING HIM BUY THE PRODUCT.
CHOSE 1 ABOVE AS THERE IS NOTHING LOWER.
