The hype surrounding the release of Docomo subsided once people came to know the true service related issues. Even though, they made the call rates fall, they could not manage the enormous success and failed to provide immediate relief.
Most of the outgoing calls are duds. The calls get disconnected frequently. I opted for post paid services based on their website plans. The first month, my calls were barred due to non-payment of bill even though I did not receive the first bill. This was done automatically without any information to me. They fixed my limit to Rs 800 per month.
The second month there was a service related issue which they promised to rectify but never did.
The third month, my calls were barred again for exceeding the limit(as per their claims) but my account showed unbilled amount as Rs 500 in my account online. This time they really put me off and I finally decided to cancel the account. The last date for the 3rd month bill has lapsed but they have not sent me the bill for the outstanding amount. When complained, they sent a bill to my email ID.
As per their plan, from the third month bill, the deposit would be refunded back every month for 3 months but they failed to do that. They not only succeeded in spoiling the market but in the process, they spoiled their name. I had Virgin Mobile post paid connection known as Smart pay which was a painful experience and had to cancel the same due to lack of service and this time, it was bad practices that made me leave them.
I will never trust this group again.
