On 14th nov 2011 I switched from tata indicom cdma service to tata docomo gsm. That was the worst day of my life. Believing that I shall get the same mobile coverage as that of cdma I took this decision. But alas! What I got was the worst ever service. When my wife calls me from the 3rd floor of my building to my office on ground floor in the same building in thane(maharashtra) she get an answer " the customer you are calling is out of coverage area" and immediately I get a message " hi. You have a miss call.to get the details of your firat 3 missed calls, please send get to 52255 @ 25p/sms"
When I go to kalher, bhiwandi, to my surprise I generally get sms for some times 12 missed calls or maybe 26 missed calls with the same message.
When I was using cdma I was always in touch with my family in the remote konkan area also. But this time on 25th nov 2011 I had to rush to thane when I got a message in the span of 3 hours that I had received 56 missed calls. The docomo people are really spoiling the name of tatas. Either the service is to be improved or should completely shut down.
It is not that I have not tried to get the problem resolved. I contacted the gallery, tried through customer service on their 121 & 198. Thinking that my phone must be having some problem, I used blackberry of my son, got my samsung galaxy serviced, but of no use. There is a problem in the network itself.
Guys do not ever think of tata docomo. You shall get the best from any other tata product but not the docomo. It is a demon and not a friend.
