I purchased tataphoton(924247XXXX). Was unable to login using the device for three weeks. raised complain with the vendor supplied. He kept on promising it will be resolved but did not do anything. After 3rd week, raised complain with Tataphoton, They tried their best and finally took the device back and returned after one day of servicing the faulty device. In this entire period, we lost the first month 10 GB that comes with the pack.
On raising the matter with appellate to extend the first 10 GB, I got a call from some bugger in the name of karnataka appellate who had no sense of talking. He said he cannot do anything and the matter has to be resolved between the customer and vendor.I feel the appellate things are eye wash and made to only fool customers.
All I could understand the reason why foreign companies like vodafone and others care for customer and good in resolving issues quickly and building brand name.where as companies like Tata have some indian bugger sitting on the back side who could argue for endless hours to prove that it was our fault and could dwell on any mistake you might have done by not approaching tatadocomo directly rather than relying on vendor. They would spend crores and crores in marketing but has no importance of customer service.
I have lost faith in brands like Tata and swear not to purchase anything in my lifetime just because of the brand TATA without checking the quality.
