Tata Docomo service is a Value for service. I got a prepaid connection in Madurai, TN to test their network and charges.I had no signal problem in outdoors and while travelling inside city.
I had problems connecting calls indoors and many times the calls get dropped.Ppl who call me complain that they can never get my number with a single dial.That was disappointing and frustrating... The rates are really cheap... call anywhere in in India to any network or landline, its 1paise per second.
Thats the best deal one can ever get. This plan is very useful to me. Many other operators are trying to copy from tata docomo and introduce per second billing. But Docomo is the only provider to give persecond billing without any topup or rental.
Hats off to the plan...Customer service does not exist. You are on your own the moment you come out of the shop.If you have any issues, better discard the SIM rather than trying to resolve it. In TN, first 3 sms are charged at 60paise per sms and then 75 sms free for the day.
