I will share my interview experience in 2016.
I got a mail for experienced 5-10 years position. It seemed like a non-walkin kind of an interview. I reached the venue at sec-62 early. But I saw hoards of people. Apparently they had a walkin planned for many positions, many domains, many experience levels.
First you have to provide proofs to security guard. Then wait in line for your badge inside the venue after showing some more proofs. Then you have to wait for 1-2 hours in line(minimum) to give the whole file of your photostat documents and identity proofs to the HR. They scan each and every document and if even 1 doc is missing they refuse people.
Then I first waited at the ground floor for 2 hours for my call. Since I had already taken a day off I thought might as well waste it completely.
Then our domain people(3-4) were asked to move to 2nd floor. Then soon other domain people also joined us. Then we kept waiting and waiting and waiting. By that time it was 2 pm. Only one person from our domain had gone.
They had 4-5 phones inside the room. They call interviewers in South India and each interview took atleast 2 hours. Im not exaggerating. 2 hours atleast. And its not just one domain fixed. Anyone can go inside and then you have to wait.
By that time it was 2-3 pm. I talked to the HR and said I need to have lunch and she said if your name gets called then youll be missing. I said I dont care anymore.
I had my lunch. Waited for 30 more minutes. 2 of my domain people and 20-30 people of other domain people were still sitting. I packed my bag and left.
They ran after me and stopped me. Asked 10 people out of us to go to the other building. We all sat in the conference room. By then it was 4:30 pm. Then 2 people were called and then 2 more. I was fed up. I picked up my bag and left. As I was leaving I saw those 4 people were just sitting waiting for phone call to happen. 2 waiting for fone call. and other 2 waiting for these 2 calls to end.
Then after one week I got a call from them again saying that please give us another chance. They called me at their CP office. Same crap happened again. Waiting and waiting and waiting. And there were just 3-4 people who were called. HR took papers again. Wasted another 100-200 bucks. Then after interview said that you arent selected. Fine.
After a few days I found 2 of those people at some other interview. I asked them what happened. they said none of us were selected. Even those who arent here. Only 1 girl was selected but got REJECTED in the management round. Which is just a useless round they do. No salary discussion just rejection.
