I have applied for the card, and got lot of verification calls from company. I have SBI credit card with credit limit of 40K. So during one call, I have been asked to share the limit of cards between these two cards (Tata card and SBI card).At that time I came to know that, its SBI card only.
Then the card was issued. But at the time of delivery, it was not possible for me to get the card , as I was out of city. It was previously planned, so I called TATA cust care and asked about resolution.
As per their suggestion, I had hand-overed the photo copy of my driving licence to one my friend and one authority letter, which confirmed that, she can take the card in my absence. But the person from courier said on phone that, he cant handover it to any person other than me.
When I told that I have already spoken to TATA card, and they are OK with this, still he continued that its not possible. Their courier service doesn't allow this. There is mismatch of policies between TATA card and their courier service.
Till the date I haven't received any card, but 3 statements have been generated by company, which includes late payment fees with regular joining fees. I have received sms of the same.
