DO NOT EVER go with TATA AIG, they do not believe in responding for claims and would not settle correctly. You have to buzz them umpteen times.
They do not give any explanation in writing for your claim. Dozens of their agents call and ask for same details of the claims. Each time, you will end up explaining for potentially zero reimbursements.
Claim #1 - 0820998885A
Claim was rejected as one day deductible. If Hospital / Doctor decides to admit patient for day surgery and discharge, AIG will never reimburse your claim as 1 day deductible. I could have easily stay in Hospital for 2 days, if I would have known this if honesty is not in my kitty. This is purely mis-leading honest people. Got cheated of 22000/-
Claim#2 - 0821139445A
4 Days Hospital with Surgery, bill came to 85000/-. Claim submitted and only 6000/ settled with No explanations.
All documents from Hospital / Doctor and Pharmacy were submitted for their reference. I am also attaching manually calculated for reference.
Except for Life threat illness, most are not covered.
Sent several reminders. Absolutely no explanation in writing for not settling. They do not respond at all. But very promptly call me for renewals. What an irony.
