My honest advise before hand - do not i repeat do not go for tata-aig health policies. I have already fallen in their net and lost about 17k of amount which i could have easily gotten from any other insurance company - instead what i get is a meager cheque for 1000.00 for a claim amounting to 25000.00.
And at the time of selling the policy the representative had falsely assured that there will be complete covereage of all the medical expenses + the hospital cash benifit. But when my 3 yrs old daughter was discharged after 5 days of hospitalization.
I sent them all the expenses details the total of which was amounting to approx 25000.00 and in return they sent me a cheque for rs. 1000.00 as if i give a damn about their 1000 bucks. This kind of duping the customers with false promises by companies representatives is totally un acceptable and i am planning to put up a case against tata aig.
