I visited this hotel over the weekend for dinner. Its located opposite Forum in the same line of Hyderabad Biryani. I think we just went on the wrong day.
Their central air conditioning wasnt working & it was quite stuffy. We even requested the staff to open the windows, but we were told that it cant be done. When we complained about the heat, the staff informed us that the AC wasnt working. They also told us that they were telling all their guests about this. Hmmm.but nobody told us, despite the fact that I had booked the table on the phone!
I understand that every business outlet might face some technical glitches like this. But we would have appreciated it a lot if they would have made alternate arrangements, like placing pedestal fans. The place was crowded, no ventilation inside the hotel & the air conditioning out of order - it was definitely uncomfortable. In fact, it was so bad, that we just had starters & left. We didnt order for the main course. We had the main course in another hotel. We were also cautioning other guests who were planning to dine at this place on our way out.
Also I think the food items are a bit overpriced for the kinda ambience of this place. 45 bucks for a nimbu paani?! We had ordered for 4 nimbu paanis(we were 4 of us) & 3 starters which costed us Rs. 800. I think that's quite steep.
